We are a family owned and operated business that's been in operation since 1982. The greenhouse was started by Henk Kievit Sr with help from his oldest son, Hank Jr. In 1998 Henk Sr.'s youngest son, Ron, took over from his dad, and the 2 brothers have continued to grow the retail and wholesale business.
We started with 2 small glass greenhouses that were only 10 000 sq. feet and were for retail only.
Over the years we have expanded to over 48000 sq. feet of greenhouses. Today we sell to small stores, garden centers and at farmers markets. We buy from local suppliers if we don't have it ourselves and sell all of the wholesale in Ontario. You will find both Hank Jr and Ron at the Toronto Food Terminal in the Spring, Summer and Fall season.
